FC Groningen
To launch FC Groningen’s 2025 home and away kits, we brought the feeling of the club’s old stadium back to life. Nearly twenty years after the lights went out at the Oosterpark, two towering spotlights helped us recreate the iconic glow of the stadium floodlights. Cold concrete, worn metal, brick walls and mist in the air completed the picture. A kit launch staged like a memory.

SHOT LIKE A FLASHBACK
In a setting that captured the raw character of the old Oosterpark stadium, we united three generations of FC Groningen. Former legends, current players and future stars stood side by side under the floodlights, wearing the new green and white shirts.
Photographer Ewoud Rooks captured the nostalgia in imagery that blurs the line between then and now. Studio Flink translated that feeling into motion, with films that take the viewer straight back to the era of the Oosterpark. Not only shining a spotlight on what’s new, but bringing the club’s roots back into view.
